Introduction
This plugin allows you to automatically send your HikaShop sales to
QuickBooks Online as "invoices". That way, you can easily integrate
your online shop orders to your accounting.
Features
The plugin will send the data of the orders to QuickBooks Online as
invoices
A payment can be generated for each invoice.
The data sent will be linked to accounts in QuickBooks. It's
possible to have different products sales linked to different
asset/income/expense accounts.
Can work on paid or unpaid orders.
Accounts can be configured in the plugin and for payment methods.
Tax rates can also be sent to QuickBooks
Installation
Download the plugin on our website
Install it on your Joomla website (extension manager)
Go in the Joomla plugins manager and edit its settings.
First, enter the Client ID and Client secret from the app's Keys &
credentials tab in your QuickBooks Online account.
Select either Development or Production for the Mode setting. You
can do tests with a sandbox account thanks to that setting.
Then, enable the plugin and save it once.
Then, you need to add the provided URI in the Redirect URIs of your
QuickBooks Online's Keys and Credentials area.
Then, you can use the "Connect with QuickBooks Online" button to
finalize the setup.
After this the plugin will start sending the confirmed orders data
to QuickBooks online.
We recommend that you continue the setup by first filling the
account names in the settings below based on the accounts you have
available in your QuickBooks account.
If you need to charge taxes, and you want HikaShop to send tax
codes with the data of the orders, you want to activate the "Send
tax code references" setting of the plugin. Note that in this case,
you need to configure your tax rates in HikaShop so that the
namekey of the tax rate used corresponds to a tax code in
QuickBooks Online.
Also, in your payment methods, you'll also find extra settings to
generate a "payment" corresponding to the invoice in QuickBooks
Online.
Finally, in your Orders statuses menu, you'll find an extra
"QuickBooks" column to configure which status to take into account
to send the order data to QuickBooks. By default, it is set to
"confirmed" and "shipped"
.
