The New JSN Epic - A Great Experience with Flat Design

As announced in our previous blog^[1], the new demo interface of JSN Epic will be released on September 10th. In this update, JSN will bring you a new flat design style that makes your website look cool, splendid and trendy.

Why Flat Design?

In recent years, the minimalism trend has been growing. Nowadays, people are getting bored with complex and unintelligible things. That’s why they prefer to: wear minimalist clothes; live in apartments which are reduced to their necessary elements; and of course, visit websites which have a flat design.

“Less is more” is what JSN aims to achieve in JSN Epic version 6.0.6: goodbye all drop shadows, gradients and textures; welcome simple elements, flat colors (only three main colors) and much more space for showing images and HTML5/CSS3 animations.

How Does Flat Design Work?

Please focus on small details, you will find many things that make you interested:

• Module style: There are many who people visit websites using smartphones which don’t have good performance for 3D module designs. Therefore, the modules of JSN Epic version 6.0.6 are designed to fill in the gaps and stick together. This makes your website look flat and easy to slide up and down on smartphones.

• Text, images and videos: There is not much text on the homepage. Instead, you will have more space to showcase your images and videos. This improvement can impress your visitors and hold their attention longer.

• HTML5/CSS3: By using HTML5/CSS3 technologies, you can perform many impressive animations on your website without worrying about its loading speed. For example, when you move the mouse cursor to any picture area, this area can be illuminated and have a short introduction about it.

• Introduction: ‘About us’, ‘Our services’, ‘Our work’ and ‘Testimonials’ are four sections of basic information that have been added in the new version of JSN Epic. As you can see, they make your website look more professional.
