Static is a new project from DevDojo that is a simple site generator that uses NodeJS to compile your HTML into a fast and elegant static website.

After you install the Static NPM package, you'll have three new commands that you can use in your command prompt.
static new my-site
The static new command will create a new site in the folder you specify.
static dev
The static dev command starts a development server for the current project folder.
static build
The static build command will build your site into a production-ready masterpiece.
Once you finish your site you can host it on any server, GitHub pages, or even deploy through Laravel Forge.

Two weeks ago, I tweeted about splitting up Laravel Splade into multiple packages and that it should be easier to start with Splade.
The foundation of Splade v2 will be Splade Core, and in this video, I'll give you a sneak peek of what I've been working on.
In short, Splade Core is the glue between Blade and Vue, and while Splade was always about mixing Blade and Vue, Splade Core will make it dramatically easier to do so. Inspired by Volt, Splade will support Single File Components (SFC) by mixing Blade and Vue in a single file.
Pascal Baljet shared a sneak peek of the next chapter of Laravel Splade. This is a preview and is experimental at this point, but has some exciting features in the works:

In his talk at Rails World, Tailwind CSS creator Adam Wathan explains why “separation of concerns” isn’t the right way to think about the relationship between HTML and CSS, why presentational class names lead to code that’s so much easier to maintain, as well as loads of tips, tricks, and best practices for getting the most out of Tailwind CSS.
I've been using Tailwind for years and still picked up some excellent tips from this talk and demo. I haven't used the group feature often, and the demo of css variables at the end was great.
