We are pleased to announce the release of the second release candidate of DOCman 2.0[1]. This is a stability release that focuses on fixing smaller issues in preparation of the final 2.0 release.
DOCman 2.0 is production ready and used by many sites already. For an overview of all features also check our previous DOCman 2.0 Alpha[2], Beta[3] and Beta 3[4] and RC1[5] announcements.
This release features 21 fixes for smaller issues and common problems encountered by our customers. For the complete changelog[6] check our site.
We are now making finishing touches on the user interface and implementing the final remaining features. We expect the following release to be DOCman 2.0 stable.
We are also starting to get DOCman 2.0 translated into several different languages to give you an out of the box solution in your own language.
You can give DOCman 2 a spin on our demo sites[7]. DOCman 2.0 is available to all Joomlatools members[8]. Not yet a member? Get a subscription[9] and start using DOCman today!

The Joomla! Project is pleased to announce the availability of Joomla! CMS 3.2.0 Stable. Joomla 3 is the latest major release of the Joomla CMS, with Joomla 3.2 the third minor release in this series. The Production Leadership Team's goal is to continue to provide regular, frequent updates to the Joomla community. Learn more about Joomla! development at the Developer Site.
A big thank you goes out to everyone that contributed to Joomla 3.2! Joomla 3.2 is our largest release ever, in terms of bug fixes and new features. Since the release of 3.1.5, over 1085 commits have been made to the code base with 50 different people contributing to commits (not including testers and other non-coding activities). And best of all is that the new features are awesome!...
The ThemeRox team does it again with a brand new Joomla template that also supports EasyDiscuss. We are happy and honored to have them developing new designs for our web developer friends who would like to get new templates that work with EasyDiscuss, our forum extension for Joomla.
Doom is a brand new Joomla template that supports websites with e-commerce, blogging and forum features. If you are looking to build a Joomla site with any of these main features, Doom should be in your recommended list.
The new theme operates beautifully in today's smartphones and tablets, thanks to its responsive template. You could also customize the look of certain aspects of the theme if you are strong in Bootstrap.
For Joomla freelancers and hobbyists, you can build interesting websites with the available color presets, easily fulfilling the needs of your client's brand and image.
Adding a forum to your Joomla site with Doom template will be a breeze as it comes with customized styling for EasyDiscuss making it look seamlessly blended into the site.
Doom is already available and you can view the demo or download at ThemeForest.
EasyDiscuss is a lightweight forum extension also available with technical support packages.

We're pleased to announce an update of our 2013 templates to add J3.2 compatibility.
Please note that to avoid Joomla! 3.2 compatibility issues only our installer script needed to be changed. This was necessary to allow our templates to install properly on a fresh J3.2 installation. Therefore you won't need to modify any template files if your template is already successfully installed on a J3.1 site which you can then update to J3.2.
A few of these template updates also include some minor bug fixes and improvements. For those templates we have listed the changed files as usual.
More template and extension updates will be released shortly.

The Joomla! Project has announced the availability of the Joomla! CMS 3.2 Release Candidate. Community members are asked to download and install the package in order to provide quality assurance for Joomla 3.2. Joomla 3.2 is scheduled for release on or around November 6th, 2013.
Joomla 3.2 is a pre-release package that should only be used on test sites.
Most notable in this build among new features is the long awaited versioning feature as well as a few notable new features including:
Content versioning has been one of the top features requested for Joomla!. This feature allows joomla to automatically save each version of an article with a version note, and tracks changes, allowing you to compare versions, and revert to any saved version if needed.
Joomla multilingual-site automatic installer For those wanting a multi-lingual site, you'll now be able to set one up automatically during Joomla's initial installation.
Joomla's new RAD layer is a rapid application development framework on top of Joomla. In short, it's a Joomla developer's tool to significantly make coding easier and faster.
Another Library that has been added for developers is one that implements https://schema.org micro-data semantics into joomla. This is a Google Summer of Code project, which aimed to add microdata semantics in the Joomla CMS.
There is also the important inclusion of 7 low and medium priority security patches for information disclosure, XSS, DOS and privilege escalation vulnerabilities affecting versions 3.0.3 and earlier versions of 3.0. The security issues are already addressed in the stable Joomla 3.1 release. In addition 38 items from the bug tracker were also addressed.
Full details can be found in the official Joomla 3.2 RC release announcement at joomla.org[1].
Most notable in these builds are modifications to sh404SEF® and Josetta® to accommodate changes in Joomla! 3.2 which break backward compatibility.
We are actively testing in order to prepare our extensions for the General Availability release of Joomla 3.2.
Users are encouraged to prepare sites with sh404SEF® and Josetta® for the release of 3.2 we have prepared additional instructions at the end of the article.
Users of Sh404SEF should install the latest version of Sh404SEF before updating to Joomla! 3.2 - which will break backward compatibility. see our step by step instructions.
However, if you already updated your site to Joomla! 3.2 before installing latest sh404SEF®, and are no longer able to access your website, you will have to use the following workaround (see our step by step instructions[2]).
Users of Josetta® must also install the latest version of Josetta® before updating to Joomla 3.2 Joomla! 3.2 includes some changes which break backward compatibility. Simply install the new version over your current version using the Joomla Extension manager installer.
However, if you already updated your site to Joomla! 3.2 before installing latest Josetta®, and are no longer able to access your site, you will have to use the following workaround (see our step by step instructions[3]).
Pro Tip: Back up before making any changes to your site of course, including applying updates to Joomla or extensions
A Joomla upgrade can be performed directly in the Joomla administrative backend. For users with multiple sites, we recommend updating all your sites from Watchful.li — a centralized site manager for Joomla.
